Preface: Fastidious Fatality My hand drunkenly wrapped around the bottle, getting the best grip possible on it. My peers all watched as I continued to lower myself down to their level of rubbish. I didn’t know why I was degrading myself like this; I was unlike them in every way. They were worthless and had no shot at a true, successful life. I had forgotten why I was even here, until a long, familiar arm wrapped around my waist encouragingly. I looked up at him, a smile tugging around at the corners of my lips.
